Cancellation, Returns & Exchanges Policy

This Cancellation, Returns & Exchanges Policy applies to purchases made through yigitkitchen.com.tr from YiğitSteel Madeni Mutfak Eşyaları Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“YiğitSteel”).
This policy is intended to explain our cancellation, withdrawal, return and exchange procedures in a clear and practical manner. Nothing in this policy limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable Turkish consumer legislation.
1. Order Cancellation
If your order has not yet been prepared for shipment or handed over to the contracted shipping provider, you may contact us to request cancellation.
Once an order has entered the shipping process, immediate cancellation may no longer be possible. In such cases, the applicable withdrawal and return procedures may be followed after delivery.
Cancellation requests may be submitted through your customer account, where the relevant function is available, or by contacting us at online@yigitkitchen.com.tr.
2. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing through distance sales may exercise the statutory right of withdrawal within the period provided by applicable Turkish consumer legislation, without having to provide a reason and without contractual penalty, subject to legally recognised exceptions.
The withdrawal period generally begins on the date the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer receives the goods, subject to the rules applicable to the relevant transaction.
Where different products within a single order are delivered separately, the calculation of the withdrawal period will be determined in accordance with applicable legislation.
3. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify YiğitSteel within the applicable statutory period through a clear declaration indicating the decision to withdraw from the purchase.

The notification should preferably include the following information to help us process the request efficiently:
- Name and surname
- Order number
- Relevant product or products
- Contact information
- Statement that the consumer wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal
4. Return Address
Unless YiğitSteel provides different return instructions for the relevant order, authorised returns should be sent to:

Before sending a product, we recommend contacting us so that the return can be correctly identified and the appropriate shipping instructions can be provided.
5. Returning the Product
Products being returned should be packaged appropriately to prevent unnecessary damage during transportation.
Where reasonably possible, the product should be returned together with its original packaging, accessories, components and any promotional items supplied with the product.
The absence or damage of original packaging does not by itself eliminate mandatory consumer rights. Each return will be evaluated according to the nature of the product, the reason for return and applicable legislation.
6. Return Shipping
Return shipping procedures and any applicable shipping charges will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer legislation, the reason for the return and the return instructions provided by YiğitSteel.
Where a contracted return shipping method or return code is provided, customers should follow the instructions supplied for the relevant return.
Customers should not send parcels on a cash-on-delivery or unauthorised shipping basis unless specifically instructed by YiğitSteel.
7. Inspection of Returned Products
Returned products may be inspected after receipt to determine the condition of the product and whether all relevant components have been returned.
The consumer is responsible only for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, to the extent provided by applicable legislation.
Mandatory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
8. Refunds
Where a cancellation, withdrawal or return qualifies for a refund, the refund will be processed in accordance with applicable legislation.
Refunds are generally made using a method compatible with the original payment method and the technical procedures of the relevant bank or payment service provider.
After YiğitSteel initiates a refund, the time required for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the bank, card issuer or payment service provider.
Where payment was made by bank transfer/EFT, additional account information may be requested where necessary to process the refund securely.
9. Exchanges
Where operationally available, customers may request an exchange by contacting online@yigitkitchen.com.tr.
Exchange requests are subject to product availability and the circumstances of the relevant order.
If a direct exchange cannot be completed, the customer may be asked to return the original product and place a new order.
Any price difference, refund or additional payment arising from an exchange will be communicated before completion of the exchange.
10. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If a product is delivered damaged, defective, incomplete or different from the product ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
To help us review the issue, we may request:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging where relevant
- Other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the request
Requests concerning defective or non-conforming products will be handled in accordance with the mandatory rights provided under applicable Turkish consumer legislation.
11. Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain goods or services where an exception is expressly provided by applicable legislation.
Depending on the nature of the transaction, such exceptions may include goods manufactured or prepared according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised for the consumer, as well as other categories specifically excluded by law.
An exception will not be applied merely because YiğitSteel prefers not to accept a return. Any exclusion from the right of withdrawal will be assessed according to the applicable legal conditions and the nature of the relevant product.
12. Custom and Private Label Products
Products manufactured specifically according to a customer's or business customer's specifications, including personalised, specially produced or private-label products, may be subject to different cancellation and return conditions.
Where such products fall within a statutory exception to the right of withdrawal, the customer will be informed as required in connection with the relevant transaction.
Separate commercial agreements may apply to business-to-business and private-label production orders.
13. Warranty Claims
Returns and exchanges arising from a warranty claim may be subject to a separate assessment from ordinary withdrawal returns.
YiğitSteel products are generally covered by a 2-year warranty, subject to the applicable product conditions, warranty documentation and mandatory legal rights.

14. Consumer Rights
This policy does not restrict any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable Turkish legislation.
Where there is a conflict between this policy and a mandatory provision of applicable consumer legislation, the mandatory legal provision will apply.
