Membership Agreement

This Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the creation and use of customer accounts on yigitkitchen.com.tr, operated by YiğitSteel Madeni Mutfak Eşyaları Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“YiğitSteel”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Creating a membership account is optional. Where guest checkout is available, customers may place orders without creating an account.

2. Membership
A user may create a customer account by completing the membership or registration process made available on yigitkitchen.com.tr.
Membership is personal to the registered user and may not be transferred to another person.
The user is responsible for ensuring that the information provided during registration is accurate, current and complete.
3. Guest Shopping
Creating an account is not a prerequisite for purchasing products where guest checkout is enabled.
A customer who places an order without creating an account remains entitled to all mandatory consumer rights applicable to that transaction.
Membership does not provide greater or lesser statutory consumer rights than guest checkout.
4. Account Benefits
Depending on the functions available on the website, membership may allow users to:
- View previous and current orders
- Manage billing and delivery addresses
- Manage account information
- Access order-related information more easily
- Submit or track customer service requests where such functionality is available
- Use other customer account features introduced by YiğitSteel
The availability of particular account functions may change as the website is updated.
5. Account Information
The member must provide accurate information when creating and using the account.
The member is responsible for updating information where necessary, including contact, billing and delivery information.
YiğitSteel is not responsible for problems caused solely by incorrect or outdated information provided by the member, except where otherwise required by mandatory legislation.
6. Login Credentials
The member is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account login credentials.
Passwords must not knowingly be disclosed to unauthorised persons.
If the member believes that the account or login credentials have been compromised, the member should change the password where possible and contact YiğitSteel without unreasonable delay.
7. Account Security
YiğitSteel may take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect customer accounts and the website.
Where suspicious, fraudulent or unauthorised activity is detected, YiğitSteel may take proportionate protective measures, including temporarily restricting access, requesting verification or preventing certain account functions.
8. Use of the Account
The member must use the account and website in accordance with applicable law and the legitimate purpose of the services provided.
The account must not be used:
- For fraudulent or unlawful transactions
- To impersonate another person
- To access another user’s account without authorisation
- To manipulate orders, prices, promotions, returns or payment processes
- To interfere with the security or operation of the website
- To submit malicious software, automated attacks or harmful content
9. Orders Made Through an Account
Orders placed through a member account are governed by the terms and information applicable to the individual transaction, including the relevant:

- Preliminary Information Form
- Distance Sales Agreement
- Shipping & Delivery Policy
- Cancellation, Returns & Exchanges Policy
- Warranty & After-Sales Support
Membership itself does not constitute a sales contract.
10. Payment Information
Payment information used for purchases may be processed through authorised banks or payment service providers.
YiğitSteel will process payment-related personal data only to the extent necessary for the transaction, website functionality, security and applicable legal obligations.
Specific payment methods available to the user are displayed during checkout.
11. Personal Data
Personal data relating to membership and use of the website is processed in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation.

Membership consent and consent to receive marketing communications are separate matters.
12. Commercial Electronic Messages
Creating a membership account does not by itself mean that the member has consented to receive optional advertising, promotional or marketing communications.
Where consent is required, commercial electronic communications will be sent in accordance with the member's relevant permission and applicable legislation.
The member may withdraw marketing permissions through the methods made available for this purpose.
Withdrawal of marketing consent does not prevent YiğitSteel from sending communications necessary for orders, account security, customer service or compliance with legal obligations.
13. Reviews and User Content
If the website allows members to submit reviews, comments, photographs, questions or other content, such content must comply with applicable law and the website's Kullanım Koşulları.
The member must not submit content that infringes third-party rights, contains unlawful material, misleading information, spam or malicious content.
14. Intellectual Property
Membership does not grant the member any ownership or licence rights over YiğitSteel's trademarks, logos, product photographs, website content, designs or other intellectual property except for the limited right to use the website for its intended purpose.
15. Suspension of Membership
YiğitSteel may temporarily restrict or suspend a membership account where reasonably necessary for:
- Account or website security
- Fraud prevention
- Investigation of unauthorised activity
- Compliance with applicable law
- Protection of other users or YiğitSteel systems
Measures will be proportionate to the circumstances where reasonably possible.
16. Termination by the Member
A member may request closure of the customer account by contacting YiğitSteel or using an account deletion function if one is made available on the website.
Account closure does not automatically require deletion of all data.
Data that must be retained for tax, accounting, contractual, legal claim, fraud prevention or other lawful purposes may continue to be retained for the applicable period.
17. Termination by YiğitSteel
YiğitSteel may terminate or permanently restrict an account where there is a serious or repeated breach of this Agreement, unlawful activity, fraud, misuse of the website or another legally justified reason.
Termination of membership does not remove rights or obligations arising from previously completed orders or transactions.
18. Inactive Accounts
YiğitSteel may review inactive accounts as part of its data retention and security practices.
Where legally appropriate, inactive account data may be deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled in accordance with the applicable retention policy and data protection requirements.
19. Changes to the Membership Service
YiğitSteel may improve, modify or discontinue particular membership functions as the website and services develop.
Changes will not remove mandatory rights relating to transactions already completed by the member.
20. Changes to this Agreement
This Membership Agreement may be updated due to changes in legislation, website functions, account services or business practices.
The current version will be published on yigitkitchen.com.tr with the applicable update date.
Where a change requires additional consent under applicable law, the required consent process will be applied.
21. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or restricts any mandatory consumer or data protection right granted under applicable legislation.
If any provision conflicts with a mandatory legal provision, the mandatory provision will prevail.
22. Applicable Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
Nothing in this provision limits any mandatory jurisdiction or consumer protection right available to the member.

24. Entry into Force
This Agreement becomes applicable when the user voluntarily creates a membership account and completes the registration process provided on yigitkitchen.com.tr.
Users who shop through guest checkout without creating an account are not required to accept this Membership Agreement solely for the purpose of placing an order.
